Coming together

finally starting to look like a bronco again. The white is actually a pearl snowflake. I was really surprised how pretty it turned out. My OCD even made me paint all the riots.

bumpers

Got the bumpers back from the chrome plater. Its surprising how much better they look with simply shortening, lifting and tucking them in a little.

ram mount

Looking sweet. The ram assist has my brain spinning, may have to revise my plans. Any closer pics of how it mounts, or more details available.

Here are a few more pics of the ram mount. Its nice and tight. The plumbing is really clean this way because the hoses don't need to drop to the axle. I agree it does add more stress to the track bar bracket and passenger side knuckle VS mounting it on the axle, but I stiffened up the frame a bit as well as the track bar bracket. With 33's I am not worried about it. I had one this way for quite some time on a street rig with 35's and it has worked great. Very good road manners.

Moving along

Got the twin stick mounted and I could not stand the boot bolted to the floor so I made a little housing (even put in a coin tray). I did not like the location of the console so I did a little rearranging on it as well. Lifting the cup holders up allowed my to slide it froward quite a bit. Now the arm pad lines up with her arm (as well as the one on the door). Narrowed rear bumper came back and I got the tire carrier all fabbed up and painted. I had plans to run a stock air cleaner, but I put it on and just could not take it. Lindsey gave me the freedom to add some "boy cool stuff" to the engine bay so I got a little creative with twin air cleaners. Once they are all chromed I think they will look pretty spiffy!

Progress

Little more progress. I put the individual wiper motors on, but they were pretty ugly so I trimmed the stock wiper cover around the cage. Turned out pretty slick. Also installed some H4 headlights with LED Halo rings. I wired the rings to be daytime running lights.

Fuel tank

Tank is done. I figured being 16 rear visibility at night might be important. So I figured a way to add a LED good back-up light. Tucks in right under the bumper.
