Must have been having a couple drinks when you double posted this!!

(Just kidding!)

The Base'squatch I built came out to $39K. I thought that was pretty good. A Base'man'squatch would knock a couple grand off of that.

I've built 3 using the Badlands model. $55k, $57k and $59K. Mine will be a street queen but I want it to look like a mean street queen. What are your must haves? I went with the Tasker option, 2.7 liter, roof rails and tube doors and the mesh top. The wife wanted all the creature comfort so we got the Lux package. My final price is $57,389 2 door cactus gray. One thing I am confused with is I thought the Badlands had the rock sliders standard but it was a $600.00 add on. But I will be waiting for the modular roof to be available before I purchase. I'm sure that will push my over the $60k mark.

Black Diamond build

I was dead set on the 7 speed in a Big Bend on reveal and reservation night. Since I cannot get Squatch with the stick at this point, I have changed my direction. A close friend said I don't need another stick, I have one in the 1970 ('Bank Robber'). I went Black Diamond V-6, auto with Squatch and Mid Package. This will be the 'Mid-Life Crisis' and the CFO can drive it to Super Celebration West next year. I get two toys and they both will be Ford Pony Trucks.

Did Ford reverse the man-squatch decision? Maybe I missed it. I thought they were going to make it available but that the B&P has not been updated to include this option yet??

I think there's several snafus yet with the P&B and that's one of them. Hopefully those will get ironed out between now and order time in a couple of months. Either way folks can get a general idea of what they'll spend I think.

ManSquatch

Scoop,

Since ManSquatch is late 2021 delivery, I opted for the V-6 and auto. A good friend asked why did I need another stick when the 1970 has a five speed? I see the logic and the best part is the CFO can drive the 'Mid-Life Crisis' and I drive the 'Bank Robber' to Super Celebration West next year.

I plan on the way back from Aurora, CO on delivery day to go wheel in Pike National Forest to get the CFO comfortable in 4 wheel drive. Should be a hoot. She has only ever been a passenger, never in control of the skinny pedal.

v/r,

SevenT

I'd like to go all out, but that aint happening right now.
My build is a base V6 with paint protector and parchment floor mats...works out to all of 32k.
Much cheaper than a resto mod with vintage parchment floor mats.
