That is coming along nice. You have put a lot of your time and effort into this project. It is good you found someone to help with the fit and finish. Looking forward to seeing it completed. Ken

Rethinking paint color! Originally was going with Britany Blue, but the body is much nicer than I thought it would turn out. Thinking Midnight Blue?

To be honest every piece of metal on this truck had to be reworked! The quarters fit was marginal, had to rework the area between back and tail light housing. I remember reading your post, non of this stuff cooperates with the old metal.Over time the metal distorts, but what I was told by a very good builder, every piece of new metal needs so sort of tweak.

This continues to be my greatest fear.

I just wish I new before I put my tub together that this was a known problem. But yes don't fear the fab, just know each piece needs some tweaking, my was extreme due to the project size.

First coat of paint goes on tomorrow.

One heavy coat of black primer
Four coats of Lunar Blue Pearl
Coat of clear coat.
Paint should be done mid December

Still working on this and that.
