Well, there's a silver lining to that cloud! More dough in the cookie jar to keep moving the new old Bronco closer to Super Cel and more! So it's really good news. I was going to list it here and other places for $3500. I didn't get near that much but Joel has helped me out a lot and I didn't have to hassle with answering a lot of questions and losing time to lookie-Lous.

Yeah, Spurty, had a lot of mixed emotions about lettin' her go. The guy in the pic is Joel of Beaverdam Broncos and the Hudsonville Fair Ford and Bronco Swapmeet. I've bought a bunch of pieces and parts from him for the new old Bronco, so we kinda swapped money and stuff for quite a while now.

It happens brother... On to the next one

Big double yuppers Sprv1, on to the next one! I am using a stock V8 EB radiator in a six cylinder core support. Had to do a little bit of re-vamping. Also, got a shroud from JBG.

Most times, just when I'm thinkin' I'm near the end zone, someone goes and moves the goalposts. Well, I guess I can blame myself for not taking care of what I can when I'm in that neighborhood. Well, this is a case in point. I knew the drivers door/front fender gap was not quite there, soooo...... I made a cut in the fender with a thin blade in a spinner, Knocked the top in about 4 fuzzkins and weldered it up. Like my Dad usta say, "Close enough for the girls Junior knows". It'll pass the 50' ft @ 50mph test anyhow.

Correction: I made the cut with a saber saw with a metal blade. More pics of the fender "correction". 20200709_121003.jpg

Close or not, I picked up the paint for the inner fenders, wheel wells and bottom today! I know I seem to be movin' at the same pace as Rozy's buddy, maybe just a bit slower, but still movin', so hang in there Ken, it's not your time yet. Howard in beautiful west Michigan

PAINT! Finally, some paint! Not much of it, and only on the front inner fenders, but Paint! The holes are for the fender mounted remote control mirrors I might use and the dimples are patch plugs from when some hunnyock drilled the mirror holes in the wrong spot. Going to use that color on the fender wells and the bottom.

And speaking of my bottom, it's now greenish/grey! Bronco bottom, that is, I'm pretty sure you really don't wanna know about my bottom. Havin' a ball! I also picked up the paint for the engine compartment today, hopin' to paint that tomorrow if I can get my bottom out of bed early 'nuff.

Another day, another color! Painted the underside of the hood and the engine compartment with urethane. Not so easy to get the just right amount on. Close enough for me by the time all the pieces and parts are back where they belong.

I agree Rusty, looks like progress to me also. Maybe not a lot, but some. Plus I wanted to know that the primer had fully cured so I gave it six years or so just to be sure.

Not a whole lot of forward motion, but I did extend the pivot points of the DIY rotisoirre in hopes of making room for the grill and rear bumper.
