Yesterday I recieved my new set of wheels. US Mags 17"x 9" slots. A big thank you to Chuck and the crew down at BC Bronco's for putting this deal together. The wheels look great, but it will be awhile before I can mount them. I've got the cart before the horse with the wheels. I still need to get a 1" body and 2.5" suspension lift purchased and installed. And I also need new tires. So they will be decorating my shop in the basement for a few months.;D

Can't take any chances. This is a new driveway and the wife would not be happy to find new spots on it already. The previous drive was stained pretty bad when I was every day driving the Bronco.

Nice Bronco. Its good to see another from Nebraska.

Hi Ruby, thanks for the compliment. It's a driver and a work in progress with a lot more to do. I take it your from Big Red country as well. Great to have another EB brother and with a 76 to boot. A very good year.;D Have you posted any pictures of your Bronco? You know we love to see Broncos of all kinds.

Anything new?

No, nothing new. Just enjoying driving it as much as possible before the salt hits the road. And not to much in upgrades planned over the winter. I've got to devote my time getting my other hobby back on the tracks.
See pic's in post 216, here. http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=177603&page=15&highlight=Nebraska

It's a 1 inch scale, rideable, real coal fired steam locomotive. It's been down for a rebuild for about 5 years now. I have a dead line to have it back together by fall 2015, for a live steam meet in Wisconson. So the Broncos will have to wait. However I do have a goal to be at Super Celebration in 2016.

Steam Engine, that really cool. I had been making plans to build a scaled down Tiger tank at one point. Not really as hard as it sounds. I only have so much time, so its the Bronco for now.

Bringing my build thread to the top for a little update. On page 2, post 15, I shared pictures and text describing the "Alice" turn signal upgrade I made to my 76. I have had a couple inquiries about the mounting/clamp brackets I made to mount the 66-68 turn signal buckets to my grill. So I took the time to make drawings of the mount/clamp bracket parts and posted them into the previous post. They are also attached to this post. They are pdf files, so anyone should be able to download and print them off if you would like to make a set of mounts for your "Alice" upgrade.

Not much to report on my Bronco. I have been busy working on my Live Steam Locomotive project. So the Bronco just gets driven occasionally when the weathers nice.

However the wife and I are in the process of building a new home and I will finally have the garage space I have always dreamed about. So the Bronco will be getting a new home, with plenty of room for future upgrades. And maybe a second Bronco for company.;D

It sure looks like one. In early manufacturing plants, most of the machinery was powered from overhead belts. Driven by a large stationary steam engine. Times sure have changed.

Thanks for the picture.
