Well, had a pretty productive weekend working on the teardown of the 76. I have a pretty good pile of parts forming as I saved anything that was still decent, I even took the time to unplug the wiring harness and snake it through the firewall when I removed the dash as opposed to cutting it. it's too bad this one rusted out this bad and it hasn't been on the road since the late 80's. It was a plow truck so I'm sure the salt started to take it's toll long before it was parked for good. the original paint was still shiny underneath the top seal though.
at this point I am thinking that I will probably swap most of the drive train from this one over to the 70.
next step is to bring the rolling chassis to my shop where I can make quick work of it and then I will start tearing down the 70 here.
well, I'll let the pictures show the progress...

Man, that 70 is a jewell! The 76 will be fun to watch the resorection.

1976 ,351, 33's, c4, 411 gears, Hydroboost, Twin Sticks. Detroit locker, LS D44, 2.5 SL,Champion radiator. Rampage soft top, Tom's Bronco bucket seats.
3g alternator. FITECH, Family cage.
