Hello All,

I’m still unsure if I’ll sell so I’d like to get input on what you guys think it’s worth. It mainly sits in the garage so it may be time to let someone else enjoy it.

I bought it a little over a year ago from California and I’ve put less than 500 miles on it since. The paint is very nice and with the 5-speed it runs great at freeway speeds. The PO had the body, engine, suspension, and interior work professionally and tastefully done. All of the following custom work was done by the PO. I believe there is about 7500 miles since the restoration.

It currently has the red hardtop installed. I’ve included some pictures to show how it looks with the soft top, those were taken before I purchased it.

Not sure on price but if custom suspension work means the tie rod and steering stabilizer bushings look cracked/worn, then what really was customized?

I would think PO would have painted or PC coated the intake, looks like junkyard pulloff. Looking at sections of frame, I am not seeing evidence of body off, I am seeing black frame paint, with rusty frame bleed through, making it look like it was body off.

Nothing bad I see, just not sure with some claims not matching what I see.

Thanks for the input. I agree there are definitely some things that could be improved upon. The tie rods are solid and the steering stabilizer should be replaced. I also agree that the 5.0 Intakes are not eye pleasing. I actually considered swapping them to an Edelbrock EFI system to give it more of a stock look. But it runs so nice now I didn't want to mess that up. The suspension work involved swapping the front shocks/coils to coilvers and removing the rear leafs and replacing them with coilovers and a what I believe is a 4 link (I'm not a suspension expert so perhaps someone with knowledge can chime in. If anyone's interested to see how it was done go to Eversen Performance Instagram account and scroll down. He shows a lot of what was done to it). All I know is that the front and rear are very different than my other 2 broncos with WH and TBP lifts. The PO drove it maybe 1k miles per year so the paint/body could be up to 8-10 years ago but it shows like it was done recently. All that being said, any idea what you think it's worth?

OK that makes mor esense, I was thinking it was done a year or so ago, 10 years ago, a frame could look like that. Was it driven on a beach into salt water? Sort of looks like it/

what would it take to buy it? im in the market

Hi bgreenwell - That's one of the reasons I wanted input from the CB community, I was unsure of the fair value. I've spoken to several different places and considered other methods of selling and I'm thinking of either listing on Bring a Trailer or sending it to consignment, leaning toward consignment since the reserve on BAT is simply too low and I don't have the time or energy to deal with selling it myself. I'll post here what I decide.

It's actually not a reassignment but a state of CA DMV Replacement ID#. This CA DMV tag uses the original VIN 'U15GLF...', which matches the frame. Not sure why it was done, perhaps the laws in Cali require it but most of us probably would have gone to Marti for the sticker and glove tag but the PO didn't.

Even though this was mainly his street bronco, the PO is into serious desert racing so I'm sure this bronco spent time out in the dunes as well. Hopefully far away from salt water!
