Why not get the factory Ford Mustang twist-lock hood pins. Summit racing has em. You can use them with the factory hood latch. nothing to loose no wires clean flat look plus its factory part.

New cars have a lockable remote lever to open trunk. Any lockable hood releases out there. Too easy to access interior. Would not be secure without lock.

Pins or not

Changed my mind. Going to weld up all the holes.
