Hey,

This is kind of an off-the-wall question...

Do any of you guys remember a company named Desert Dynamics from the '70s and possibly 80s? They were located in Santa Fe Springs outside of Los Angeles.

Thanks,

Jeff

Desert Dynamics was bought by Pierce based in Texas. They have some old manuals on the web site.

Hey Everyone,

I went on a search yesterday to see if I had missed any old slides. Still looking and wishing I had more to share.

Hi Everyone,

My sister came across a scroll that was used for one of the Baja races. I'm not sure which race this was for.

I guess this is Lowrance version -xxx. lol

Jeff - that's so awesome!! A rare piece of memorabilia there! Does it go all the way to La Paz?

Hi Todd,

That was as far I went... lol

Afraid I would find a way to mess up a piece of history.

With your motivation, though, I'll take a look.

Hope you're doing well.

Thought I would add this, not Vintage at all.

But it continues with the theme of the event? Took me a while to get it framed.
So many great memories from the times that I and my HS Buddies would drive to Vegas to be part of the race (Watch) in the early 80's.

Again, Thank you Jeff for sharing all this. Doug.

Great pic's and great read. Thanks for posting.

I saw the “Oly” Bronco and a Strope Bronco at the Chicago Auto Show back around ‘69 or ‘70. That's when I got hooked on Broncos.

And from the total mileage and a few of the twists and turns, we can maybe figure out which race that was. Since many of the distances vary from year to year, there might be a way to narrow it down.
