BTW, The VIN on the one I mentioned was U13FL736906 owner-Don Sadler

Maybe my 'Buttercup' isn't really that early, but it is the earliest one in my stable. I may have already posted it here, but if so, forgive me. It does indeed still have the original windshield and I will try to post pictures of the carlite codes. It is U13FL735752.

Here's some additions that I've run across while gathering u13 vins. I also have 198 66 u13 owner names that I don't have the vin numbers for lol. Just names, colors and locations. Wish I had them, odds are there are some early ones in there.

Thanks guys and girls! Terry, it's pretty rare when a Bronco leaves here with a new owner!;D

That metal top was bittersweet. It was ugly but very well made and it saved Buttercup's tub. Inside the tub is in great condition because of it.
