Sweet... Big congrats!

I've got a stable mate for my 66 eyebrow half cab. I bought Brian Ivey's 66 eyebrow roadster. Very low miles and all original. It belonged to Brian's dad and and was the 2nd owner. Brian tried to get it running but couldn't, and it has set up in the garage for a little over 6 years. before that Brian said his dad parked it in the barn 20 years before that because it quit running.
It is original Springtime yellow but his dad painted it green for hunting. I knew within 10 feet I was going to own another bronco...the one that has been on my bucket list to own. (A yellow uncut roadster.) It was pretty much rust free and all original. After I bought it, he dug out 3 of the original hubcaps. The only thing is it has most of the convertible frame as I could tell, but no top and doors. It is basically all original except for the wagon wheels, tires and maybe front shocks. I plan on getting this one running and bring to SC in April. Here are the pictures Brian had sent me last week.

Congrats! Any chance you would measure the length side to side on the rear bumper? (I have one on my 66, thinking someone cut it and shortened it).

If he doesn't I've got some chrome ones that I know haven't been cut.

Bluegoose, I just saw this, my cars are back at my shop and can't get to it now.
Hopefully Okee will see this and get back shortly with those measurements.

I don't have consecutive VINs, but pretty close. Here's my story for you. I found my October 65 Bronco in Winchester, VA but it spent it's entire life in Martinsburg, WV. About a month after I got mine, my brother found one down in East Tennessee. When I was running the VIN number for him I noticed ours were nearly the same, the only difference was his ends in 3 and mine in 5! Both are bench seat wagons with bulkheads. It was fun to see those two Broncos parked side by side again, just like they were on the assembly line 52 years ago.

That's amazing also. After all the years to find ones so close in number.
You got pictures of both?

Not as nice as yours but here they are. My brother's is the blue one and the red one is my old Deloris. I think mine had a little better upbringing

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but since we are talking consecutive VINs, ours are U15FL769213 and 5. Anyone have 4? I would like to think she's out there and white. Wouldn't that be cool, three consecutive and red, white and blue?...

Congrats T-Bird!! You had to buy it with the consecutive vin!! I have a Springtime Yellow U-13 ending in 52 and a buddy has a Peacock Blue U-13 ending in 55. I'm sure they were sold at the same dealer. They stayed within 20 miles of each other their whole life.

Ford Man, I look forward to seeing you there! My half cab is doorless and top, bulkhead, they are sandblasted, and getting ready for paint.

Tailpipe, they are the same as mine...one also having a better upbringing over the other. :p

Ford fan, I remember when you got your Yellow one, I think I had just joined this site. I thought then how cool it would be to also own a roadster. Both of mine were sent to Atlanta and both were about 80 miles apart the whole 50 years. Both very low mileage, and never traveled far from home. Ford had so many small town dealerships back then I doubt they were sold by the same one. Be sure to look me up at SC.
