We decided to add a new version of our tapered heim stud so you would not have to do any machining on your 66-75 knuckles (D30, D44 Drum or disc)

This NEW chromoly tapered stud will fit the 66-75 Bronco knuckles (drum or disc) and pitman arm to provide a good solid mounting point for the heim joint/rod end. The studs are the same size as the stock tierod end NO REAMING REQUIRED . This is a much more secure way to mount the heim to your knuckles and pitman arm. One stud, two castle nuts, 1 safety washer and two cotter pins are included. The stud is heat treated to 45 RC 4130 and gold zinc coated. and designed to use a 3/4" heim joint. Designed with 2 flat spots, "wrench reliefs" on the top of the stud so you can prevent the stud from turning when removing the nut something you can not do with a standard tierod end.

For 76,77 knuckles you will still have to ream the knuckle for these to fit (just not as much as if using the bigger F150 stud.)

If going tierod over "TRO" 66-75 use part # 47-00350

If you are using F150 knuckles use part # 47-00350

What reamer would one use, if they wanted to go TRO with the F150 stud?
