I knew Lou back when he operated his sawmill......I am a retired forester and dealt with him on occasion for several years. I wasn't into racing at all back then, but now I still watch NASCAR and I root for Ryan Blaney due to the local connection. Lou was honest and straightforward as far as logging went and he would 'tell it like it was'.......like it or not.

Nice to see the cooperation for a great cause!

Forgot.....my son has a couple of Dave Blaney NASCAR Matchbox cars.....again due to the local connection.
