Old Baja Bronco video of barn find?

Does anyone remember this story? I remember seeing a video or a bunch of stills of a guy out west (Ca.?) that found a Baja Bronco in a garage building behind a property. The garage was basically a large rectangle shed which had been added onto over the years. The Baja had been crashed, and put in the very back of the garage. Over time, it was buried with junk, and then an addition was put onto the front of the garage building.
The guys had to remove everything in front of the building, and I think they even had to remove parts of the new addition on the garage to drag the Bronco out of it’s tomb. I distinctly remember seeing an Elk Rack in the photos which was laying on the hood. Does anyone remember this story? I think one of the Baja guys ended up with this rig. I’d love to re-read or see the entire story.
Thanks.

BajaBronco, Cool! Was it one of the rigs in your signature 69, 66, 67, or 72? I obviously could not remember where I saw it. Makes sense it was in BD. Post pics or a linky to a build if it exists.

Was this the found in Arizona??? It had rolled on its side at one point.....

I think you're thinking of the one that Randy Harral of Driven 4x4 found here in Phoenix about 10 years ago. Andrew eventually restored that one too.

Got some time on your hands do ya?

Haha. I don’t. I just got excited for a minute that maybe i would. Toddz and I are usually packing for baja this time of year, but race is postponed. Norra. I’ve got to spend most of my time finishing a customers 67 roadster and 73 baja.

But I’ll do my best to at least find a couple pics of this find today on my archive disk.

Hey , there’s an idea. I may have that accessible. Will look. For a while we were clipping the articles I wrote and putting in a binder. Then along came child.

Hoping to one day write again for BD magazine.

It was rebuilt by a SoCal bronco enthusiast, and later sold to another in Oregon who finished off the repairs. I believe it went to auction twice, lost its stroppe steering column, and wheels, and steering wheel, and still has some firewall wrinkles. Current whereabouts unknown .

Yes, so cool. It was a neat Bronco. OUt of San Diego dealer originally....made its way to Santa Clara, CA. Not sure if owner was original owner or not.
