Installed the seats today with a little help from my daughter. Very pleased with how they fit. driver seat has a slider as well as manual height adjustment and recline. Front passenger has slider and recline. Very solid, and comfortable. These are from a 2016 2 door JK. I removed the base on each front seat and mounted slider rails directly to the floor. Passenger side I had to fab a leg from the original bracket and it looks great. Rear seat is another story...TeraFlex sells a bracket but it’s several hundred dollars so I took the basic concept and made my own.

Love the seats!

Was the width of the rear seat an issue fitting between the wheel wells?

Does the rear seat block your view through the rearview mirror?

Hey audifan the rear seat fits like a glove just touching both wheel wells. The rear view is impacted a little. I previously had a Jeep TJ rear seat and this one is probably 4” taller and has headrests. It does block my view a little but not horrible.

Thanks Roundhouse...my wife reminded me today it has been 8 years to the day since my last chemo treatment in Colorado so we are really happy to be where we are today.

Awesome. Thanks for the info.

Also, just to be a pain...do you have a picture of how the sliders look mounted to the floor?

Perfect. Thank You!

I've been debating about doing a Wrangler rear seat for 6months now, instead of a Toms or WH fold and tumble because of the better construction and the built in car seat "D" ring mounts.

I've got 2 little ones (one booster, and one front facing clip in) and have been going back and forth on my decision.

Minor setback this weekend...something strange is happening with the transmission I’m getting a whirling gear noise. I believe the tcase is not the source as I have tried to isolate it...but basically when the output shaft is turning I get the noise. Dropped the tcase this past weekend and now it looks like I need to drop the trans and open it up. Very frustrating to do things multiple times but I suppose if this is the only hiccup along the way then I can’t complain too much. I did purchase and install some Hummer H1 shoulder seatbelts last weekend...turned out very nice. Nothing special about them except the price...think I paid under $100 for all four brand new from a US manufacturers of belts. Thanks to this forum for the tip on them. Will post an update on the tranny when I learn something.

Appears to only have been the bolt from tcase adapter slightly touching the reverse gear in the transmission which was making the noise. Pulled it all out and inspected then reinstalled with shorter bolt and seems fine now. Had to enlist help from my bride to get the transmission back into place...stabbing the input shaft into the clutch can be tricky.

I haven’t been on here much lately but really impressed with your build results.

What a clean and tidy ride !

Best part is all the memories you made with your family along the way !

Do you happen to have a paint code for that color? I've been looking for a medium blue that isn't a metallic for a while.

The color is Cavalry Blue which is used on the Toyota special edition TRD trucks like Tundra, Tacoma, or 4Runner, over the last few years - any paint shop can get the exact code, sorry I don’t have it.

Thanks! I've been looking at that color specifically. Nice to see it on an EB!

Great build and great story! I lost my dad to C when I was young and now I'm building a bronco with my boys to build our relationship and their skills.

How are the JK seats working out for you? You seem pretty tall in your picture - I'm 6'7". Do you have any issues with headroom or hitting the roll cage? Do back seat riders have any headroom issues?

Looks like you got a steal on your seats. Those JK seats are expensive! I'm hoping to score a good deal on a set and will have to re-upholster. Hard to find ones like yours for less than double what you paid.

Thanks for posting - it's really helpful! Great build!
