Looking good Reynard ,
I feel your pain, I'm trying to assemble the bronco in a box , lots of two steps forward and one step back . Learning as I go . Your build is coming along nicely , won't be long now can't wait to see the finished product. Keep up the good work.

Dale

Thanks Dale. It's been slow going lately. I'm hoping to make good progress over the next few months.

My major goal is to have a running Bronco for the 2015 AZ Bronco Stampede.

Started on hydro boost. Upgraded explorer power steering pump last week with super duty internals.

Ghetto-booty fab hydroboost socket. Only needed to take off the nut once.

Mix of Explorer and E series brackets. Saginaw pump and OBA.

Trimmed the bracing out between on the AC mounting pad. Also had to trim the valve cover. Lots of trimming but it fits. Needs an idler pulley

Stock Explorer tensioner on alternator bracket. Added another idler pulley...

Please note the custom radiator hose holder.

Idler, needs to be shimmed slightly.

Passenger side explorer tensioner.

Getting closer to moving on it's own.

Need to bleed brakes (more) and hydroboost. And a little tuning. And fill axles with oil.

video...

SOOOOOO close to test driving. Making sure all the little stuff is done. Don't want to hurt anything (including me). Hoping to make test drive by Thursday.

Rear explorer calipers were on the wrong side, switched and the brakes bled easily. Hydroboost took some effort to bleed. I also made a band-aid extension on my Saginaw pump, like this...

Trying to get it above cooler and add extra capacity. It seems like it's bled, no whining. Still need to lean out carburetor, those unburned hydrocarbons are harsh.

I noticed in the beginning you started off with an efi motor. What did you change over to carb or bolt on efi, like msd or holley?

Time and money. With this engine I would need a custom tune as well. EFI will happen sometime down the road. Some of the TBI systems look tempting too (MSD and FAST 2.0), might go that route.

Using a Quadrajet turned backwards on a Edelbrock intake.

Quadrajet is claimed to be one of the better off road carbs, aka hillbilly fuel injection.

Cage work at a local shop, Bent Fab. Guy (Paul) is a miracle worker, considering my less than average body work.
