I had always wanted an uncut, stock Bronco. I was at the Long Beach Classic Car Swap Meet talking to a guy about his rig, when an older gentlemen came up behind me and said he had one for sale if I was interested. I actually wasn't ready yet, but after talking with him for a while it seamed like a solid rig for an okay price.
Decided to make the two hour drive through LA traffic to check it out. When he opened the gate, I was hooked. Same color as my rig but all stock. Picked it up a couple days later. Was sitting next to an F100, '57 T-bird and a nice classic Mustang. Jealous.
Extremely solid other then needing new floors, small areas in cowl, one small spot on the inner fender and a poor patch where he covered the spare tire mounts. I cant find any other rust. According to the PO, its always been a Ca car.
Having some electrical issues, but other then that and the floors, its just needs a long list of small stuff to address to be a fun driver. Don't have the funds or time to do a full restoration, which would be nice and what it deserves.
I guess they call this a delivery model. Bench seat, bulkhead with full top and no rear seat or mounts. The 289, with three on the tree runs pretty good, but gotta get used to no power steering or brakes.
Got the Marti Report attached, nothing rare other then the hand throttle?
I'll try and post more pics this weekend.
