Cool progress! Gotta love those GNs.. I have a good friend selling one right now. I tried to talk him into keeping it but his wife wants it gone...

Thanks! It's coming along. I can't wait to join the body and frame and get her home for assembly/wiring. It'll probably take longer than I planned as I just booked some more out of town work. Oh well, gotta pay for the addiction (and mortgage, food, kids school, and on on on).

What's he want for it and what condition is the GN in?

Almost forgot...

I also bought a Detroit locked, Yukon axled, Heim joint steering, trac bar riser'd, disk brake'd D44 from a member on here sight unseen?:? (except pics). He dropped it off yesterday and I'm very happy with it. Thanks Robert!

I'll still end up disassembling it for detail work, but it has all the good hard parts;D

It's just a basic 5.0 roller replacement motor from a local company (can't remember the name, the owner of the shop ordered it). Everything is new, but nothing fancy and I got a good deal. I put my edelbrock intake and carb from my old 302 on, but I plan on replacing with EFI (either Edelbrock or FAST) before I get it driving.

EDIT: I'm using a Projection III efi set-up. It's really simple and tunable and will work with my stock air cleaner. It's basically a electronic carb.

As of today, I'm four weeks in since disassembly. The goal is to have the painted body and chassis united as a roller by week 6, then I'll start re-assembly (the fun and painful part of any build). I won't make my august completion deadline since I'm heading to NYC for a month in June/July. Then once I return I'm swamped until November. I'll try to get as much done on weekends as possible, but I'm now hoping to have it driving by early spring...

Frame is pretty much done...

still need front Bilstein's, re-build/powder coat/paint axles and steering, rear disks and maybe sway bars.

How much raptor did it require to coat underneath and inside the tub? Also did you go up the firewall with it? hard to tell in the pics. Looks great by the way!
