Wow THAT WAS quite a while! I remember meeting you a very long time ago, so long I actually forgot what the reason was we met!! Congratulations

Haha, yeah. I think I gave you a set of wheels? Life got in the way (in a good way) and it just went on the back burner. Then the shop I ended up taking it to took their sweet time. I stopped worrying about how long it was taking and just think about how nice it’ll be once it’s done.

Agreed! Hope all is well Tyler. How are your rigs doing? Still have both?

All good here. Yea, we still have our two. I've also had a 77 for about a year and half that I was going to build, but a client of mine had to have it. Just sold it last weekend. I don't know what I was thinking! At the time of purchase probably the best running/driving Bronco I've ever bought.

which manufacturer and wheels?

Any rubbing? tuck good?

American Racing salt flats. 18x7. Originally had 4.5 BS but I had them reworked to approximately 5” BS. They tuck perfectly. I still need to adjust the front steering stops as they do rub on full lock.

On the wheels, by reworking the back spacing, this involved what? Did you have to have the center's bored out for the front hubs? What size tire and lift combo? Killer lubr!!!! I'm building a 69 halfcab lubr with a 2.5 suspension and 1" bodylift.

I had the wheel centers moved out in the hoops and rewelded and the face of the hub machined down so I’m probably at 5”-5 1/4” BS now that i think about it. I used a company here in LA that builds about 3000 sets of wheels per week so they’re very reputable. For the hubs, they came with proper hub size from American racing which was one of the reasons I went with them.

It’s a 285/70/18 MT and a 3.5” wild horses lift. I took 3 leaves out of the rear leaf springs which is why I’m considering going with 2.5” coils in the front. Once the rear bumper and spare are on i think it’s going to sag in the ass and we can’t have that!

Looking good. Do you have a part number for the upper rad hose? It fits better than the one I have and was wondering. Love the wheels.

It’s two hoses coupled together. Unfortunately I don’t have the part numbers. And thanks about the wheels!

I’m a little ore than a week from the 10yr mark from when I started this build thread, but I’m happy to say… it’s FINALLY DONE! Just read through the whole thing and boy did it evolve over the years. There was a 4yr window where nothing happened. Almost exactly one year ago, I took it to the Upholstrey shop only to find out after it had been there for 5 months, that the paint and body work that was done 10 years ago wasn’t great. When we took the top off, the left quarter was separating for the taillight panel. There was even rust at the seam although it’s never really been outside except the drive to the upholstery shop. The windshield hinge and a few other place were also starting to show some rust. So I took it to my “new” body shop and had them fix it right and respray it. Yes, it was painful having to repair a brand new 10yr old paint job but it is what it is. After 6 months in body shop prison, I finally got it back to the upholstrey shop (@customdimensions on Instagram). They did an amazing job. All of the interior and sound system is custom built. I haven’t taken any pics yet of it completed but will get some this week. In the meantime, I’ll post up some progress pics.

Some of the progress pics. Decided to fill the aux fuel cap since I added Amp power steps and could no longer use the aux tank. Also had to remove the family cage cause it wasn’t square. Bought it used so it is what it is. Happy with the roll bar that’s in there now. Body shop gifted me a custom air cleaner for my birthday last month.
