Since you guys like more pictures here are some of the dash coming out and the tub without the heater box and drivers side vent removed. This had a hand throttle and it is very interesting since it hooks up to the gas pedal.

Will attempt to pull the grill and fenders after dinner. I just might be able to save this tub.

I've never really researched to see what is cheaper if you had to buy just about every pice of sheetmeat or buy a fiberglass body instead. Either way "cheap" is a word you need to use loosely. I just bought a 74 I'm tearing down now and everytime I remove a panel I see three other sections that need replacing. The "can of worms" expression becomes more like a plague of worms.

I think Jeff's sells a complete body kit for like $3999, but you still have to put the bloody thing together, way out of my league!

Pete, After sellin' it to ya', the more I think about it,,, the more I'd love to see ya' bring this thing back to life in the way you shared with me. It would make one hellava' build scrap book as the rest of us gawk when its done in sheer disbelief.

It's like I want to just start saying to you, Rudy, Rudy, Rudy, Rudy (please tell me ya' get the reference made)

Well Mike I got the fenders and grill shell off after you left tonight. I think it can be put back together. Going to have to move some stuff around now to get some space back. Going to hang up some plastic to keep all the dust down now and start blasting the surfaces I can do without destroying anything. 1/4's, hood (from the 76), fenders and grill I will leave for some other method. Here are pictures of the inner fenders.

And yes I got the reference to Rudy Ruttiger.

Pete, what were your original intentions with the 67? I thought that the tub was going to someone else? You don't want to spend all your money and time working on that old rusty tub, buy a glass one from mike and sell me that one.

This truck originally belonged to Mike (miker) in Manchester and after I had helped him he was going to give me the frame (for this build) and take the body to use on something else. After reviewing what would need to be done with this tub and the cost to have someone do that for him, he decided he was going to go fiberglass ala Bronco Designs. I offered to buy this one for what he had invested, as it was worth it to me for a vin, title, the fenders and the grill which appeared to be decent. Plus all those small items you need when doing a build such as heater controls and what not. There was enough areas of rot to be of concern, while some areas looked extremely clean. It all came down to a gamble on what was underneath what we could see. Be happy to sell it to you for the relative cost of one of Mikes glass tubs! ;D

I thought about trying to join the race as well especially since I should technically have one of the easiest builds, but, I change my mind so much along the way I'll probably end up finishing last......if I even finish!
Pete, your moving along so well, why settle for just one Bronco? you have two rolling chassis now, and one steel tub, might as well grab glass tub too, hmmmm...............

My son decided he wants in on the action so the other roller is his. My only stipulation was that he would get as much time out of me for his build as I get out of him on mine. I will probably have to go back and ammend that to include some type of tool clause since I have seen his room, and his car! :p
