Wow, what a killer bronco! I toyed with the idea of changing things or keeping it stock on my nearly all original bronco when I got it. The main things I did change; brakes(front disc conversion), radiatior(aluminum), suspension(2.5 WH), radio(retorosound) I feel like are all for the better. I also kept every stock piece if someone wanted to take it back and make it all original again. Mine is also not a 1976 Ranger... I like the idea of a 1.5 inch lift on yours. Just enough to make it look a little more beefy... Such a great find you got there!

Doh, no stabilizer bar listed.

Factory swaybars have never impressed me much even though I've paid a bunch for them to put on Broncos. I have several that came with the swaybar too, but from driving them, they are really non-functional. I think it is because of the design and them being connected to the radius arms instead of the frame. The new Hellwig swaybar is functional!.... original Ford, not so much...

I haven't posted in a while but I have been working on bringing the Bronco back to original by collecting some parts

I found and installed an original blue ranger dash pad in excellent condition

I found and installed some extremely nice original blue ranger door panels

I replaced the carpet

I did some polishing on the interior door panels and dash as well as cleaned up some wiring and removed a few aftermarket switches

I got the factory mirrors reinstalled

Lastly, I put on a fresh set of BFG KO2 all terrain tires.

Loving how it's coming together.

The '76 Ranger is looking great Fishinman! They are extra fun to play with when they are responding to the TLC! Congrats on finding some nice original parts too!

On a side note: The door panels should have the 'burl' woodgrain for '76 and '77 Rangers instead of the straight grain that's on the installed panels. I just thought I would mention it ....

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look at the ones I took off and compare them.

The original ones were peeling and the backing board was warped.

I haven't seen a suicide knob on a steering wheel in ages. Gun racks too. That's classic 1976 stuff right there. Perfect time capsule...
