Where do I start? Traffic and parking was horrible. Vehicle layouts were unorganized. More of a modern Mustang meet. Fee was $15/person. And...very few Broncos when compared to this event held at Knotts Berry Farm.

It's always been a bit of a mustang fest. Might've gotten more broncos if we actually knew about it before a week ago. Also given the choice I would've done the bronco bash.

All the cool Bronco’s were in Big Bear this weekend. Probably well over 75. This was our 20th annual Bash.

A few reasons I did not attend this year.
Traffic. Ugh, seems lately it has been almost unbearable.
$15 per adult? Always was free for spectators at Knotts. Kinda eased the parking pain
Don’t really want to pay to park either. Lol.
Mustangs have always ruled Fabulous Fords Forever meet. I can appreciate someone’s hard work and dedication to personalize the Mustang but damn! too many! It’s just becomes a blur. IMHO........ok I’m done whining.

I tried to give it a shot as a spectator. It opened at 10:00 & I got there a little after 11:00. The line to park was incredibly slow. I waited for half an hour & moved so little that I figured it would be at least another hour from there. Probably more. I bailed.

I'm not sure if they were expecting a low turn out & didn't hire enough staff, or if no one came back to work after covid, or if the place was already full & they were only letting in cars as others pulled out. I never got close enough to see. I've been to other events there & never have seen the lot filled, so I'm guessing it was short staffed. Typically there's a line at Irwindale, but it moves right along.

Very disappointed with FFF!!
We got down there at 11:30 and the line of cars to get in was very long and did not move! We waited in line for 60 mins. and moved 40 yards. Pulled a U-turn and got the hell out of there!! I hear that inside is was kind of a mess too....unorganized. Glad I did not pay the $30 bucks for my wife and I. So disappointing. Maybe they will get it right next year! Bummer!

Did anybody get in as a spectator? Why was the line so slow?

I live less than 2 miles to the event and chose not to go. I knew there would be parking problems you cant fill the parking lot with show cars and then expect parking available for the masses of spectators that the ford show normally draws. If Irwindale wants to promote these types of gatherings they will need to buy the lot across the street and put a cross tunnel in. I go there when there is a VW event and it gets packed. Fab fords is a volunteer event and I am sure it is 1st time growing pains for them. then they complicated it with Irwindale demanding money and very limited parking. at knotts everyone parks at knotts lots and the surrounding city for miles that just is not an option at irwindale. At least they tried. What would have happened if the usual ford nuts had even known about it.

I counted 26 Broncos if you include EB, Full Size and 2021 Bronco Sports. A hand full of super nice EBs one 66 Roadster from Beach City Broncos. Great job by Mark and the crew. Great to see some old friends and meet some new ones. Definitely a show in decline at this point.

I agree with everything you said. I would also just add that they should limit the amount of Mustangs and years entered for each Mustang. I like Mustangs, but I'd rather see old steel, than all modern vehicles.
