Holy smokes! Amazon may actually ship large items to me. Anyone have experience with the Dennis Carpenter front grill?

I have a buddy that bought one. They are great.

Cool, thanks for the reply!

Edit: Dang
"Currently, there are no sellers that can deliver this item to your location."

Sigh...

I wish the t-shirt designs were more contemporary. Local Motion had a cool design at one time.

I bought one from JBG last year and it took a few months to get due to it being out of stock/production. It eventually shipped from Carpenter, which I assume is probably standard for all the Bronco suppliers.
When it arrived it was really a nice piece, everything you would expect from a $$400+ grill made from the original die.

Except....... the bottom corner on the pass. side was completely different from the driver's. imagine the passenger's side lower corner sticking out forward a good half inch when bolted up. I think it would interfere with the bumper.

Hard to explain, i have pics somewhere for those interested.

JBG was good to deal with. Sent them pics and they readily agreed it was NFG! Told me all the ones they had in stock were the same. Returned it and been hunting for a nice used one since.

Just curious, did you contact D Carpenter about issue? And if so, what was the response?

I think I’ll stay loyal to our Bronco vendors, even if it means paying for shipping.

Hey cactushorse,
I was at the Northeast Classic Ford Parts website earlier today and came across a used original grill. Price was $400, though it is listed as refurbished.
https://northeastclassicfordparts.com/body-parts-used/1649-grille-shell-1966-1967-1968-1969-1970-1971-1972-1973-1974-1975-1976-1977-early-bronco-ford.html
There are a bunch of pictures, maybe you can determine if it is free of the issue you describe.
Out of curiosity I checked ebay and found one there as well:

The ebay person is asking $250 but also has his listing marked "make an offer"; says it's a '66 but I can't make-out any eyebrows so who knows.
Anyway ... hope that is a help.

That first one look good, but it's a long way from home. I will contact them and see what they can do on the shipping.
Thanks for looking out.
