Fuel tank sending unit

The filter sock on my fuel tank sending unit's is split and fell off the 3/8 " fuel line. Can I buy the filter and attachment clap? The unit is original and it seems like replace parts are generally made cheaply. Are there quality sending units? Thanks

If your stock unit is still reading and the seal ring is good I would never change it! I have never seen just the sock. It is really just to keep big stuff from clogging the line. I would run without it versus replacing the whole unit.

This may work - maybe you can crimp it on.
