Amazing the difference small details make, really looks sharp Gary. Nice you found a shop that is willing and does quality work. Win-win, you end up with what you really wanted, and they’ll get more highly recommended referrals.

I love your Build. So much so I started one of my own, meet "Mater".

There was no Drivetrain, and I went a little overboard with the Explorer motor and tranny. But it will look stock from the outside...

Awesome! Engine looks great. I have almost all the parts for a Mustang efi upgrade. My goal is nice restored engine compartment and interior and patina exterior.

Not melting much but I did dig it out yesterday! I should have the seats installed tomorrow or early this week.

Got them installed today. I'm liking how they turned out. I still need to install the rear seat belts. Only "issue" is the new foam makes the stock seats a bit higher! I'm sure they'll settle after a few hundred miles!

The rear turned out nice - fresh painted frame and new arm rests from Tom's.

Rear seatbelts are in. Second pic shows the extra bolstering better. VERY comfortable - maybe the most comfortable stock early Bronco seat I've sat in. Now to hook up the seat heaters!

Haven't updated this thread in about 8 months. Actually I haven't really done anything to this Bronco in about 8 months! That's about to change. Just got it back in the garage today to make it my winter project. Also I went to my storage unit and brought back all the parts I've been collecting and storing for this Bronco. The to-do list includes:
  • Disk brakes with hydroboost (still need to get the HB unit and adapter - may go non-powered initially)
  • 2 1/2" Wild Horses suspension lift (need to buy shocks), all new front end bushings, adjustable track bar
  • Power steering and new steering wheel
  • Hook up the seat heaters
Also on the list but I probably won't get to it for a while - 89 Mustang MAF EFI.

A big snow storm is forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday so I needed to get everything in the garage before it hits!
