Metal strip off the warranty card I believe.

Yeah after I posted that the same thing occurred to me... warranty card’s metal section. I’m guessing the paper/cardboard part of it probably just fell apart.

I'm interested in hearing more also. I currently have two '67 Sports and both trim tags do not have a color code. One has a 6 digit DSO.
Both are U15 NLB's
