Removed a 40 year rope rear main seal. Love those messy oil pan jobs. UGH.

Kicked it in the ass, not running right. Don't think it really cared that I kicked it, didn't make it run any better.

Finished installing a Performer Plus cam & True roller timing chain and gear set. She's running like a top! Sure brought some life to my 302!

Drove it to tennis last night. Discovered a weird electrical gremlin. Need to rebuild the rear driveshaft. Need to tune the carb.

I think they must come from the factory with electrical gremlins. My wipers work sometimes, sometimes not.

Drove mine to work today.

Last night I painted the EFI HO valve covers with engine paint, turned out very well. Only two things left to paint. The timing chain cover and the rear gas tank skid plate.

Last night I painted the oil pan and replaced the main fuel tank filler and vent hoses.

Only took me a year and a half but finally got the rain rail pieces cut and trimmed for the windshield (You guessed it Stainless), And started mocking up the soft doors, Yea I know they are the wrong color, but they keep the rain and wind out so it's all good. Plan on getting new covers made to match the top.
