Well I finally finished my Baja Bronco model. These things take a lot of time to assemble.
I'll be sticking to the full size Bronco's from now on. 😊

Very nice, looks great.
I have 2 of those kits and plan to tackle one of them this winter. I bought some bare metal foil that I'm going to try on the side moulding/trim.

I am sorry about reviving an old thread but I have some specific questions for the folks that built the Revell Broncos I just purchased a kit and ordered some door inserts, nerf bars, bumpers, and hood from Olson Bros Resin. I also have my sights on a family cage, Lift kit, & KC lights from Fireball models but I am having a tough time finding tires I wan to mimic the 35 x 12.5 x 15 that I have on my Bronco but I cannot seem to find that size. I found rims that are very similar to the ones I have on my Bronco from another vendor that specializes in drag cars. Anybody have any ideas on where to find tires? I would prefer rubber ones but if I cannot find them in rubber I will go solid resin.

I can't recall any 35's neither. I have what they call the 33x12.5's. These are with the 3-1/2" suspension lift and fender flares.

I bought 4 of the Revell kits, two stock and two Baja Broncos.

One of the stock kits will be built as a tribute to my Father's Bronco, using the stock one for the basis as he never put fender flares on his.

I also plan a tribute of my own. I have been collecting parts from Olsun Brothers, Fireball Modelworks and other sources for the spark plug wires, heater hoses, battery cables etc. I think I can use the Moebius F-100 steering box as a facsimile of the Lincoln steering box my Father's Bronco had. Also I found the hood scoop he has installed on his, a Mopar six-pack scoop.

Been in contact with both Fireball and Olson Brothers on parts.

I provided Chris Olson with measurements for the Duff hood bubble, I think we can expect the hood bubble or the entire hood with the bubble built in soon..

He also said he plans on bringing back the Buckaroo hood as well as the early windshield with visors and vacuum wipers.

I am still collecting parts for two of my builds.

One will be a stock 72 Bronco Sport

One will be an authentic Baja Bronco (including front bumper braces, Saginaw steering and the Fireball Model works kit)

One will be a tribute to my Father's Bronco

One will be a tribute to my Bronco
