Video would be cool! I've put a few videos up on facebook (not that I'm a fan of FB since they've gotten to big for their britches) and it was fairly straightforward. Did it on youtube as well but it's been a while, not sure if it's changed much. Here's a try with a 9 year old vid. It's my big green Bronco in disguise. ;)

Someone needs to come up with something that would neutralize the corrosive action of salt. Use with the pressure washer and as long as it gets coverage kill any rusting action. The car companies would probably buy it and bury it though.

I wish we could post videos! :) I had about 1 1/2"-2" in the pass seat. My console lock wouldn't allow my key to fit in due to the sand in the tumblers until enough sand jiggled out that I could wiggle it in!

The sand drags were a kick in the rear. I just wished my engine hadn't lost it's tune 2 days b4 we left. LUCKLY we were saved by Garry and I could drive it at all since that happened. SOOOooo many guys had fun at the sand drags it will be on the schedule again next year unless something drastic happens.

I didn't mention the sand drags. Even with my engine unable to get any roost off the starting line (full Christmas tree light etc) I still had the fastest speed of the event.

I used to "slosh" the Bronco back and forth in the river to get rid of salt and sand but I think I'll try an oscillating sprinkler today for several hours under it and move it several inches side to side to help flush it as clean as I can.

...another 19.8 gal yesterday.

Here's a drone shot of us on the Oregon coast at the RdUp a couple weeks ago

The NWBronco RdUp is such a family event too. SOOooo to do on the beach, seals, sea lions, whales all visible when you're sitting watching the waves or driving along. Lake right across the street where kids can swim all day. 100 yard trail from the parking lot to a TALL sand dune that goes right into another lake where kids love to swim. There's a

DUTCH BRO COFFEE in town :)

...and of course there are razorbacks and literally dozens of square miles to play with your Bronco in the sand away from the beach also.

Great fun meeting new Bronco people and making new friends.

It wasn't today …. But a few weeks ago drove it to my brothers house to store it for my next life chapter. After 25 years as a Police officer put in my retirement paperwork , took advantage of the housing market, sold my house, bought at 5th wheel toy hauler. We are going to traveling a little bit then settling in Florida.
Already missing the Bronco , my plan is to stay 3 weeks in Daytona and go to the Turkey Rod run. I have never been but heard it's awesome event. So once I get the 5th wheel parked, make a run up to NC and pick the Bronco up for the event. After the event run it down to my sons house.

I scored a set of late 80's Mustang aluminum valve covers, for my Explorer 5.0. I purchased them from a fellow CB member. Thank you.

Good to see you escaping VA. I think you will appreciate Florida a lot more. Good luck with your retirement and wish you all the best.

Soooo, bit frustrating that one of the best names in alum radiators only last 4 1/2months when used daily on & off road.

No wear, no pressure points, just a defective weld btw the tube and header.

Lucky for me the warranty is great but if it happens again like it does to so many I will go back to brass for durability. My last 2 brass ones lasted for at least 15 yrs each.

This one is framed inside a triangulated tubed frt end and is supported across the entire bottom of the radiator on 1/2" of dense foam

The pic shows how entire bottom of rhe radiator is supported w/o stress or pressure points sitting on 1/2" foam

What is the small cooler on the right side of picture 2?

I got my new soft top installed. I'm not sure I made the right choice on canvas color but it is a major improvement over my old flappy bikini top.

New Top by willtel, on Flickr

I think that it looks killer! I wish I would have gone with a color on my top. It is the only one that gives you an option of color and 10+ colors. No way anyone will ever have one just like yours now.

My old ARA dealer added A/C was kind of feeble so I tore into it. 44 years worth of “stuff” was clogging up the evaporator. Time for a good scrubbing, some new hoses, and a new condenser…
