And I got it running today for the first time! What a great feeling after this long and every part being new. Fired up on the first turn and sounds great. Ill update the current build in from the first post as this has changed a lot since I started.

Heading for a 100K+ build. Got that amount in mine with much less costly stuff than on your list. An admirable goal and a great time filler
Good luck

Another day another change in direction! This build has taken more twists and turns so why stop now. I decided to fit everything and rough it in so I could get it drive-able and spend a few months driving it and shaking it out before it goes in for paint and body. I know it is double work but since it started as a pile of parts and never was assembled I thought it would be better to work out all the issues so i didn't have further changes or damage the paint when working on it. So I am about at a place where it is ready to drive after I swap out the master cylinder.

Since I saved this one from the grave, I thought it was only fitting that I get a conserving wildlife license plate!

I forgot that I had this post! It has been two years since I last commented and I am still not finished with it. I have added, changed and taken it apart several times playing around with the set up. I used it for a test mule for many other builds in the meantime. I am glad to say it was all worth it as I drives and handles beautifully. I finally settled on a color and interior and it will be off to the interior shop soon to get the final finish.
