• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Time to sell the flathead, I'm afraid. Too many other projects, too little time and a new house build that is eating money.

Where to start:

- 1947 "U" Big Twin, 74 cubic inch engine. Total top to bottom rebuild in 2010-2011, including Scott Truett rotating assembly.

- Belt primary. 4-speed trans.

- 12V electrical

- LaRossa leather seat and bag.

This is a "vintage" custom; best estimate of when it was originally "chopped" is late 60s or early 70s. I got rid of the king/queen seat and sissy bar and went bobber instead; that is a Jesse James Customs rear fender on it now.

Recently took First Overall in a local bike show. (I'll keep the trophy.)

Quite a few boxes full of spares and extra parts, including another rotating assembly with low miles but one bent (unuseable) piston rod.

Nice Bill.. Sorry to see you gotta sell

Now worries. I built it for the fun of building it. I ride it mostly just to show it off and have done enough of that. It's time to put the money back in the project funds jar. ;)
