I have a set of 1966 original seats off our 66 U13.
While we are keeping a lot of the original bronco parts as part of the restoration, there are some liberties that we are taking, therefore I would prefer if somebody else could use the 1966 seats for a proper '66 restoration.
I have posted this on the FB Bronco pages as well and have received a lot of interest. However, I thought I would post on here to see if there were any purists who might be able to offer a mutually beneficial trade.
I would like to put black seats in our Bronco. Considering Covid has delayed seat manufacturers sometimes up to 16+ weeks for new upholstery, I'm inclined to let them go with a bit less hesitation.
I don't really know the value. I tried to photograph the condition. The seat frames appear strong, and while sitting in them they seem to have decent springs. However, the foam, burlap, etc is pretty rotted and does not smell good. The Bronco sat in a barn for many years.
What I would like for a trade is a set of black seats, front and rear.
For cash value, I'm not sure what the going price would be. I'm open to offers.
I'm going to be road tripping from Minnesota to Delaware and back this weekend, so if you are located on the way we might be able to make something work.
