Picked up a 68 half cab a couple of years ago. After finishing a friends dune buggy build (took 1 1/2 years), a wine rack for my wife, cage for another friends utv, lamp post & lanterns for my daughters wedding. Finally started work on my bronco Oct 2019, took apart & had the body sand blasted.
Took about 3 months chasing rust, rear fenders, cowling & brace, front inner fenders.
1st mod was raising cowling 4" for heater a/c box.
2nd mod was cutting rear fenders, relocating 4" back (4" rear diff set back).
3rd mod grafting in chevy fleet side gas door.
Stripped all the brackets off the rear of frame for 4 link install. will post pics as soon can figure it out. 1st time posting Rich

Should work to a point I didn't want to cut to far into my bed for the upper mounts. Made the height adjustable so it can set where I want it. have a shit load of Swag tools love them. thanks for the tip, I ordered my last 10 blades on line they work ok, i'm down to 2 blades left. You also need extra rubber shoes if they brake your out of luck - like running out of gas in your welders in the middle of a project.

Front shocks are in found out the willwood brake caliper mounts are clocked wrong for the reid racing knuckles I need to drill new holes. Finished the trans mount had to have the trans recased to fit the engine. Just picked up the drive lines. Need to take them back they reversed front and rear lengths (2 steps forward & 1 1/2 steps back) 304 ss exh builders kit came in. Sway bar and steering stabilizer next to install (almost a roller) Rich

Installed front & rear brakes, fronts were not designed to fit reid knuckles(the rotors just touch the the tie rod end boots - need to make small shields to hold boot from rotor). made axle bracket & installed stabilizer.
made frame brackets & installed sway bar, modified axle brackets. bent arms & shortened links. installed valve covers & plug wires, cut out part of power steering bracket to run plug wires. made coil bracket & timing pointer. going to start on the exhaust. ordered brake lines & fittings, fuel line & fittings. I'll post pics in a couple days.

Finished fuel tank today holds 21.5 gals
I made an inner ring for the fuel pump mount & welded it to the inside of the top of the tank (1/4 in thick) drilled & tapped it. welded the tube (holds the pump) to the top plate. Made 2 baffles to stop sloshing & hold fuel at the pump if fuel level is low.
