7/16"-20 cam core thread size.

Found this out during assembly.. ran a google search and found out that this is common. 7/16"-20 where stock is 3/8"

Is it always three eights inch on stock engines? Or could it have been a running change from the factory as well?

Is that a flattened copper pipe?

All SBF cams that I have came across were all 3/8"

it is a copper tube with a steel bar in it that I drilled and tapped to use as my grounding base.
