What do I need to make this work. And why does everybody going to this. I have original setup in 76 and redoing everything on it. Not sure if they ever go bad. Im new at this. Helping my grandfather out. Any info will be great.

There are several threads on this site about how to do it and what you need.

There are prefabbed kits you can buy and install. The price is the factor. Do you have stupid money? Then buy a prefabbed one. Do you have skills? Put it all together yourself.

I think a lot of guys like the custom look of the prefabbed ones.

I like quality and performance before appearance.
