Maybe this helps...
I have a local Buddy that asked me for a few years to rewire his Bronco. It was a wiring nightmare. (See Pic's) I kept saying No. Then Covid hit and well after doing all those tasks being stuck at home that everyone did, I softened to the idea. I worked on it almost everyday for 4 weeks. I had most of the supplies I needed, so not too many trips to NAPA, Hardware store, with just a few online orders that he handled and shipped to me. AAW harness with a new EFI harness from WH's. He had an on-board welder, shower, ARB Fridge, dual batteries, full set of aux gauges, multiple Aux lights, Boom-boom stereo, you get the picture. With my parts and conservative $60 an hr price, we were pushing about $4,500. He came by once a week to check on my progress and ask if there was anything I needed ordered. I went back and forth on the price, the fact that it gave me something to do, and that he was a good buddy. I charged him $1000 and said we were good. We both walked away happy. I am not running a business, no overhead, I am retired, I had the time, and he was an Electrician that wired my shop. So lots of variables to consider. And I have done a few EFI conversions, I know how long it takes to do it right.
