blue-ox tow bar

I need to get my '69 bronco (stock) from southwest colorado to San Diego. The uhaul trailer is going to run me about $400, so I am thinking of flat towing and investing in a tow bar. Then I can use it for future use also. I am looking at a blue-ox alladin class 3 hitch rated for 5000 pounds. Will this set-up work for the bronco? I will disconnect the shaft. I will be pulling it with a 1/2 ton dodge hemi.

What do you think? Will it work?
