Shopping for carpet for my 77 and am hearing from vendor that the 77 has issues that make the 66-76 carpet not work. Something about the gas fills? Anyone carpet a 77?
TIA

The rear floor and wheel well on the drivers side are different than other years. Almost all, or all, of the molded kits are produced by ACC. You can buy direct or thru a vendor. Last time I bought a kit it was much cheaper thru a vendor. You can also find sewn kits. I know Tom’s has one.

If you buy direct from ACC, you have a much larger selection of flooring colors and types.
Also, you can request special details for your order. I like to let the material run long up the firewall to cover more of the firewall insulation.

I just ordered ACC carpet from Rock Auto. Better pricing that direct from ACC and the same color options.

Also, search the forum for the Rock Auto discount code thread and get an additional 5% discount.

Having the carpet run longer up the firewall makes a big cosmetic difference.

Quick questions, which one of these is the real ACC website. I think its the first one but when you search on ACC Carpets, the second one comes up:

1. https://www.accmats.com

2. https://www.ocautocarpets.com

The first one is correct.
OC is a reseller. From their site” Our aftermarket flooring products manufactured by Auto Custom Carpets (ACC) are not "one-size-fits-all".”

ACC is in Anniston Alabama. I ordered mine thru a vendor and asked them to delete the heel pad. The carpet kit arrived the next afternoon shipped directly from ACC.
