Hello, my name is Toby Lewis and I'm the electrical and audio specialist for TPD HiFi. I figured I would jump in here and offer my tech advice for anyone that has purchased our kit or is thinking about it. We love Broncos and we are super excited about the reception that our product is receiving. We have a 1970 in the shop as we speak and are already working on new products like rear quarter inserts and some other top secret stuff.

I installed this over the weekend, the kit is very high quality with detailed directions. Wiring is laid out to make the install easy and the harnesses fit perfectly with some give. I was very impressed with the sound quality, the 6.5 sub puts out a lot more bass than I was expecting. Customer service is no joke as well, any question I had was answered very quickly with detailed information over text. Great company! I would definitely be interested in the new products you guys are working on.

looking forward to the rear panel solution. i'd love to move my speakers from the roll cage to the panel.

We have had a few questions about fit and clearance on our TPD HiFi kick panel speakers. This was one of the trickiest fitments yet. We were able to clear the functional parking brake and roll cage. Thanks to our customer for sharing these photos. We are one of the few shops in the USA fully stocked with Morel Audio but as history as shown, that can change quickly. The demand for the Bronco audio product is high so get your while we are stocked up. Of course, technical support for the install is always included.

Hey Toby,

Do you have any idea when you'll reveal the rear panels? Once they're available, do you know if they'll work with your current front kick panel kit without a head unit, or would that need a different amp? I was thinking about ordering soon, but wondering if I should wait to see what's in the works. I've realistically got a year on my project before I need to have everything for the interior.

We apologize for not getting to all the questions in a timely manner. There are a couple of us that post on here, some technical, and some not, hence the delay.

For those asking about the rear quarter panels, we plan to have available first quarter of next year, I know that doesn't narrow it down much but I will post a more accurate time as I have it. We also plan to have them available at the April Bronco Super Celebration although they will be ready to ship before that. The CAD model is just about done and I am really excited about them.

We don't sell the kick panels without the speakers at this time. Both the outer diameter or the recess and the depth restrictions prevent any other speaker on the market from fitting in the kick panel. Of could the truck could be cut allowing a deeper speaker to fit, however, we package it as more of a system solution. We know how its going to perform when it's installed. We are a high-end audio company so we prefer to keep delivering products that fit out strengths.
