Ive got a spare cummins 6bt out of a 2001 2500 ram and thought maybe it would work in my bronco. Probably a little heavy...has anyone done this. Or does anyone have something to say good or bad about this idea?

I'll take it off your hands and shove it in mine if you want me to, I am sure I can make it work! Got an nv4500 with that too? ;D

Oooooooh, even better!!!
You'd have to ditch the firewall and add some bracing to it and do some real work with matching up the suspension up front but hey, give it a go!!! I have seen a Big Bronco with one, made for a great work truck!

The 4BT is a fairly tight fit in a EB definetly have to modify the firewall to fit those last 2 cylinders of a 6BT. On the bright side you could modify the last valve cover to hold your coffee and keep it warm at the same time.

On a 5.9 ISB there is only one valve cover. And besides, I dont think you could keep the coffee in the cup with all the shaking;D

The 12 valve 6BT used up till Dec '97 had individual valve covers for each cylinder. the 98.5 and up 24 valve 6BT used one valve cover.

It would be better to put your coffee on the exhause manifold. If you like you coffee at 1200 degrees. :)
