Anybody know anything about Dualmatic hubs? I got a set and was thinking of using them. Here's a picture.

Don't know any details, but for awhile they were "the thing" in locking hubs.
I'm not sure how they relate to the Selectro brand, but both had external knobs. Not sure if one company bought out the other (even MileMarker bought Selectro eventually I think?), or if one simply faded away, or what. At one point they were even part of Bestop I believe. Or maybe they always were?

I'm sure some of the "old" guys will know though.
Hah! Got myself outta that group for a moment!

I had a set in a 79 f 100 that had a 460 and 38" boggers. The hubs were the only thing i never had problems with. LOL LOL

I'll just say I'm the same age as Paul. Those do look a lot like my Selectro hubs. These are very strong, I've never had any issues with them. I run them with an 8" rim and they do stick out a bit, but you can see from the pic how exposed to rocks they've been and still no problems.

Those are a very early set - guessing they're from the late '60s? Most of them have the same shape/look as the ones Garberz has. Sears sold them for years.

Those Selectro's are cool...still being "made" :) Although I don't see a dana 30/44 version. :(
