Duff Classic Traction Bars

Hi,

I have a set of traction bars that are the same as the Duff Classics. They were purchased many years ago (from KbarS! yes that long ago) to help with some serious clutch chatter. I hope that the chatter was more of a clutch thing and hopefully the NV3550 and new clutch will solve that. I'd dropped the rear axle before dis-assembly and it still shook.

How negative an impact do they have on a stock suspension setup? It will be mostly a daily driver, some sand dune, and some dirt road light trail, someday I might put a small lift on it.

Are they worth anything? I dislike the idea of drilling holes in otherwise perfectly good spring mounts but if they will make the chance of chatter less I might be up for it. Also it seems that they go on easily enough so I can put them on after the body is on and I see how it performs. Hmm, might have answered my own question.

Thanks,
Jason

I have them, even broke both forward mounts, better then breaking a driveline and it does ok in the rough.

I have them on my truck and can't really say whether they help in any way. A lot of people I talk to tell me to remove them as they restrict articulation. With pavement driving and light off road, that wouldn't be an issue.
I will be removing mine as off road is where my truck is going.
