Ok guys you have to checkout this low and high pressure all in one fuel pump assy that I found that would work on a none efi tank. Kind of pricey but if you could find one used. Just wanted to share the info. links below.

I used a 2000 F250 pump from autozone. I mounted it as close to the tank as possible. I'm sure there may be better set ups and I understand the need for the puller pump. I've run this single pump set up for a year and a half now. My 2 cent
