When replacing floorboards, what did everybody do about gas tank, lines, etc. Do I need to remove all of this before I start? I sure wish I could just start grinding or cutting them out.

Pretty much only thing I removed was the fuel tank. As long as you don't go too crazy, you should be fine.

Could leave in place but take precautions ..nylon lines extra extra precaution ,,a wet piece of cardboard as a shield one way....also if using a cutoff wheel and sparks are flying protect windshield and door glass the sparks will l embed in glass.
