Alright Ford gurus. I was laying under Bronco this weekend installing the C4 when I spotted my block casting number. The number is C80E-6015-A. Now the Bronco is a 1976. From what I gather from my research that casting number would be 1968 or 1969 casting. I haven't found any of the other casting numbers. I know they are some on the underside of the heads. Could Ford have used this casting as late as 1976?

Doesn't look original to me.

My '76 has a D4 casting number. Which is one with the taller deck height.

Hopefully the '68 casting was rebuilt, and the PO didn't put an even older engine in your truck. :)

I'm hoping someone popped a short block in at some point then maybe I have 76 heads with hardened valve seats.
