Gauges peg when i turn on the lights

So I just got my bronco and the gauges weren't hook up. I got them all hooked up and they work but when I turn on the lights they peg.

Just started to trouble shoot it but I thought I draw from anybody else's wisdom while I was at it.

Let me know if you guys have any ideas.

Make sure the IVR and back of the cluster has a good ground.

yep that fix it, i ran a dedicated ground fire wall to dash and dash to cluster and sure enough problem gone.
