• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I recently sold a house and have some cash ready. I know where an early Bronco sits under a shed - does not look like it runs. Appears to have little to no rust. It looks to be a 1970 +/- a few years. The owner might be a dead car collector - there are four or five older Ford trucks in the yard that don't appear to run either. I am thinking of driving over (its about 1.5 hours) and seeing if the guy has a clear title and will take a cash offer.

My purpose would be to at least get it running and perhaps restore it.

Any suggestions on how to set a maximum amount I would offer? Of course I will let him set his asking price first.

thanks, Dave

i think your best bet is to ask the guy how much he wants and then you assess the condition and go from there with an offer. we can't help ya much without knowing the condition and seeing lots of pics. the value of these are all over the place. only you know what your max is
