Whos got what and do you like it? (i would have searched the forum to see if this question has been asked, but that link doesn't work on my computer) I've got a 72 with detroits front and rear and 35s. I 'm upgrading to hydro assist and am just looking for a little info. All i see advertised is the wild horses one. Does any one have that? How does it perform? Is it street freindly? Any info would be great!

Thanks! Shannon

Got mine here http://westtexasoffroad.homestead.com/hydrosteering.html
he rebuilds your box and supplies all the parts you need.

Here are some other links

I have the 6 turn box and it slows the turning a little. When I drove the truck on the street it was fine. It really shines when that detroit up front binds everything up. Don't even notice the bind.

Since I put this in I upgraded to the Wildhorses Extreme Duty pump and added a power steering cooler, best thing I did.

and another for WTO

I had a problem with the box after the rebuilt it and they got me taken care of fast and no charge. I did have to ship it back to them and it did cost me shipping but it works great.

One of my best mods also.

WCB here. I have yet to connect the cylinder to their box, the box is so stout I have not needed it so far with 37's.

thanks!

Thanks for the input! I sent my box to west texas off road today. I spoke with a guy named matt on the phone who seemed very knowledgable and proffesional. Hopefully I get the results you guys did.

Another for Matt... got my box from him.. but I did get my ram from PSC... Love it, with a Detroit and 39.5" Boggers it was a must.. the 2nd sector shaft was cracked when I pulled it apart to tap it.. so it was really needed to get the stress on the box/shaft.

Another vote for Matt and West Texas Offroad. Bought my ram from PSC but WTO rebuilt and tapped my 78/79 4x4 box. One of the best upgrades on my rig. :)
