I drove eight hours today to buy a Bronco for my oldest son. I bought it from a member on here that I met at Super Celebration. Very nice guy who had 3 broncos...well 2 now. So now my son and I got a hobby together. We are both excited to get started on his.

That's awesome! Very cool that you and your son will be building one together. I know from experience that it makes it way more special.

Who is the member you bought it from?

He had a 302 for it but was pulled out. I let him keep that because I have a original 76 302 and a 89 mustang gt roller. I probably go with the fuel injected roller. He also threw in a complete set of good flares.

He said he never posts but reads the forum all the time. His name is Lee, and lives in Huntingdon TN. His brother Luke lives in the same town as me and also has a bronco. Both are good guys and know a lot about broncos.
BTW...My son is thinking of painting it black, I whipped out my phone and showed him pictures of yours from SC. I think that may have sealed the deal. Hahaha

I like that old school chrome winch bumper. Had one like that once but my brother in-law did something with it.

Congrats Terry! I know Lee, I didn't think he would ever sell that Red one! If you need anything let me know.

Dang Terry, you was over in my neck of the woods. Should have hollered and I could have came over and helped you load up!
Nice start on a family project. Congrats!

I wish I had!!!
first off my truck got stuck in the mud. then the winch went out on the trailer, we had to unhook my truck from trailer then pull my truck out with a tractor, then Lee had to get his 4x4 with a winch and finish putting the bronco on the trailer, then hook up the trailer and pull it out of the mud, then bring it to my truck waiting on the gravel driveway. Geeze, just when you think you got all the bases covered!

Dawg, I thought about you as I was headed back home wondering how close we were today.
Chris, If Chad wasn't pushing me to get his bronco back home I was going to stop and visit. I'm going to be in Nashville in a few weeks...I will bring a shopping list with me
;D
