I bought my 3.5" lift kit from jeff's bronco graveyard last fall. I got the best springs they have and couldn't be happier with the performance, however, I hate the way it sits on flat ground. The rear is about 2" lower than the front. I called them on it and they confirmed that all of the springs are the right ones. They also mentioned that the hard-top might be the cause, but I still have more than 1" drop when it's off.

Has anyone else experienced this and what are you doing about it? I want to level mine out.

Seriously, I thought it was just my rig, but after talking to MikeEB this weekend it seems to be pretty common. I'm trying to avoid flipping the shackles or using blocks if at all possible. Anyone...?

Some of the venders suggest getting rear springs that are 1in taller in the rear my BC's rear springs do the same thing and I was told it should be level even with my hardtop. You could go down in the front its cheaper and easier than the rears. I'm planning on putting a 1in block in the rear but thats because I have them already.

I have read the same thing about having the rear end sit to low. Thats why I have been putting off the purchase of new rear springs. I have 3 1/2 inch duff coils but just an add a leafs and blocks in the rear. I'm thinking I'm gonna go with 5 1/2 inch leafs in the rear , probably cage leafs. It might be a little bit higher in the back but I run a hard top and have a 35" spare hanging off the back so I think it will work out OK.

I wish I would have read that somewhere before I bought my kit. I re-measured this evening because I was just going off of memory when I first wrote this thread and I was wrong. I'm actually about 4.5" off with my top on.

I need a shim to fix my pinon angle anyway. Do you know if someone makes a 2 or 3" block with the angle adjustment built in?

same here. I've also added 1" blocks to correct the settling. Seems that they all settle about 1" over the first few months or so..but then no more than that.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I'm stuck with blocks or flipped shackles.

Do you live near Denver? I have a couple of other EB buddies here in town. We're all in our early/mid thirties. Maybe we could get everyone together for a weekend in the hills...

dammit, I just bought some 3-1/2 BC leafs and they should be arriving today. I have 3-1/2 coils on the front, so I hope the back doesn't sit lower. If so I'll probably get a set of wedges too.

I don't know man...just be prepared (if you buy Cage) to have your rear end sitting 2" higher than your front. My 3.5" Cage rears haven't sagged yet...actually they are still more like a full 4" lift. My rear is still about an 1" higher than the front (Cage also) even with a hardtop and a Duff plate bumper with 33" spare

I'd stick with the 3.5" if I were you...if you buy Cage.

i've heard the spring rockers are mainly for trail use and that they dont do well on street.

I just got my new BC rear leafs installed (Deavers - supposedly the same as JBG sells). I have a JD 3-1/2 front suspension, and with the Deaver rear leafs it sits almost perfectly level - and looks great! I dont understand why the back would be lower on yours. Mine sits maybe an inch higher in the back, with the top off. So once I put the top on this fall, and a few things in the back it will sit level. The springs are faily stout, no where near soft, and that's what I wanted. I'm happy with them.

I've had the BC 3 1/2" springs for a year now (deaver), and my rear sits way low as well, :( I've also thought of running the spring rockers yet the street handling is also a concern of mine. Anyone running them who could comment on their performance?
